Rehabilitation Consultant | Toowoomba/ Ipswich / Lockyer Valley


An exciting opportunity is available for an Rehabilitation Consultant to join a growing occupational rehabilitation team supporting clients across Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Southeast Queensland and the Darling Downs.


This role is ideal for OTs/Physio's/EP's who enjoy variety, autonomy and meaningful work, helping people remain connected to work through early intervention, workplace support and tailored rehabilitation outcomes. Applications are welcomed from both experienced rehabilitation consultants and new or recent graduates, with strong mentoring and development available.

About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will manage a varied caseload including:

  • Early intervention and complex case management
  • Physical and psychosocial rehabilitation
  • Onsite workplace engagement and critical incident response
  • Return-to-work planning (same employer and new employment pathways)
  • Workers Compensation, DVA, State Government and functional assessments
  • Project-based work including workplace training, debriefing and support initiatives


The role involves regular onsite client work and some regional travel across Southeast QLD and the Darling Downs. A fleet vehicle and full tools of trade are provided.


About You


This role will suit an consultant who:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Current driver's licence
  • Is empathetic, organised and outcomes-focused
  • Has an interest in early intervention and workplace-based practice
  • Can work autonomously while contributing positively to a team
  • Has strong communication skills and enjoys stakeholder engagement
  • Is open to regional travel and hands-on client interaction

Previous occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential.
